Our Simple Wedding Anniversary Celebration

We decided to celebrate our anniversary the simplest way possible because aside of having other financial obligations, we also have a lot of things to do at home. We went to church in the morning, had lunch at Max's Restaurant in SM Marikina then went grocery shopping at SM Supermarket.

Here is the tasty meal I ate

This was the song my husband sang to me last night. I was truly touched. We both got teary-eyed. Thank You Lord for giving Digi to me and Thank You for being with us all these years.

When God Made You

It's always been a mystery to me
How two hearts can come together
And love can last forever
But now that I have found you, I believe
That a miracle has come
When God sends the perfect one

Now gone are all my questions about why
And I've never been so sure of anything in my life

Chorus:
I wonder what God was thinking
When He created you
I wonder if He knew everything I would need
Because He made all my dreams come true
When God made you
He must have been thinking about me

I promise that wherever you may go
Wherever life may lead you
With all my heart I'll be there too
From this moment on I want you to know
I'll let nothing come between us
I'll love what ever you love

Chorus:

He made the sun He made the moon
to harmonize in perfect tune
One can't move without the other
They just have to be together
And that is why I know it's true
You're for me and I'm for you
Cause my world just can't be right
Without you in my life

I wonder what God was thinking
When He created you
I wonder if He knew everything I would need
Because He made all my dreams come true
He must have heard every prayer I've been praying
Yes, He knew everything I would need
When God made you
When dreams come true
When God made you
He must have been thinking about me

My Three Week Summer Vacation

Summer class starts on Monday so I am now getting myself ready for the new challenges I'll be facing in school. All of my subjects interests me a lot and I am hoping that all my professors will be efficient. I know I need to work harder in school this time and at the same time be mindful of all my responsibilities as a wife and mother. But before I go back to school on Monday, let me enumerate some of the things that made my short vacation a wonderful and memorable one.

I got to cook my family's favorite meals.

I had a great time with my classmates after our enrollment last April 3. It feels good to go out with them without thinking about school stuff. We are now enrolled as BSN III Section A. We had lunch at Carver's Tenderoast and Steaks, a new restaurant in Cubao. Since we were all in the mood for a good time, we decided to try something new. We were quite disappointed though because the place was typical, the service was slow and the food was unsatisfying. The Porterhouse Steak I ordered was too small for its price so in short, I cannot recommend the place but I was taught by my parents to always see the good in everything so I just enjoyed the moment with my classmates then ate dessert at Mc Donald's right after.

My son's Recognition Day was held last March 27. He received two special awards and I was even more impressed because he was a part of the special dance number and I can say that he can dance really well. As a reward, I and her Tita Shale went to the mall with him and we spent the whole afternoon eating, playing and relaxing. I believe he deserves a little pampering as a reward for a year of hard work and for all the things he has accomplished. I challenged him to do better this coming school year and I encouraged him to become more independent in completing subject requirements in school.

I, the hubby and three of my classmates namely Ate Sarah, Robert and Rhea attended the X-Files Summer Youth Camp in Zambales last April 1 and 2. I am very happy that I was able to bring them with me at camp because I want them to hear God's word and bring them to Christ. Robert got saved before we went back to Manila. Praise God!

I went to Club Manila East with my family and cousins yesterday. We all had a very delightful experience there. The beachwave pool, surfing pool, diving pool and buzzy river are the main attractions of the resort. We hope to go back there sometime between October and November.

Jesus conquered the grave.. He is mighty to save..

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Zephaniah 3:17
"The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."

2 Corinthians 5:15
And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

Thank You Jesus for dying on the cross for me. Thank You for your forgiveness and grace. Thank You for the wonderful gift of salvation.
