Purse Tag

Got tagged by my blogging mentor Jennie. Thanks sis!

This is the bag I used yesterday morning when I went to school for my make-up duty. ESPRIT... This was given to me by my mother who is in the states so I really don't have an idea how much it costs. I love its style and color because it matches not only my school uniform but most of my tee shirts as well. It also matches my favorite rubber shoes and the new watch given to me by the hubby.

What's inside it? Here they are:

1. my Related Learning Experience booklet
2. handout of Moving and Turning Clients in Bed
3. two ballpens (black and blue)
4. my school ID
5. N7360 mobile phone
6. coin purse
7. D&G Light Blue Perfume
8. Timezone Powercard
9. 512MB Flash Disk
10. purple comb
11. Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Ultra Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream

13. Close Up Red Hot toothpaste
14. hairnet
15. chocolates (KitKat and Hershey's Milk Chocolate)
16. concealer
17. Avon Simply Pretty Shiny Liquid Lipgloss

Here are the rules:

1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you can't go into your closet and pull out your favorite purse! We want to know what you carried today or the last time you left the house.

2. List how much it cost. And this is not to judge. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, we'd love to hear it.

3. Tag some chicks. And link back to this post so people know why the heck you're showing everyone your bag.

I got you tagged: Jeah, Ana and Kris

A Date With The Hubby

The hubby and I have been both very busy for the past months and we hardly get to spend time with each other. We don't get the chance to really enjoy each other when we're home since our son and my sister-in-law are there. So we took the time to go out on a simple dinner and movie date a couple of weeks ago. We went to Eastwood and ate dinner at Fazoli's , one of our favorite hangout places. I loved the food and the orange juice was tasty! I think I had more than three glasses. All we did at the restaurant was sit, relax, eat, drink and have a good time. We were also able to have a discussion about work, school, family, ministry and the things that we are planning to do in future. After dinner, we strolled for a while then we watched a movie. We weren't able to take a lot of pictures because the battery of my camera went dead. Anyway, it was a very pleasurable time for both of us and we loved every minute of it. I am looking forward to go to the beach with him and our son this first week of April. It will certainly make my three-week vacation a lot of fun!

Patatas Fritas

Chicken Company's Patatas Fritas

My own version

Wash and scrub the potatoes, but leave the peel on. Slice the potatoes into wedges about 1/2 inch thick. Dredge potatoes in garlic breading mix, turning to coat evenly. Deep fry until crispy.

Dipping Sauce: Mix together mayonnaise and tomato ketchup then top with grated cheddar cheese.

27 Random Things About Me

Why 27? It’s because I will be 27 years young tomorrow so instead of listing 25 random things about myself like what I’ve seen in Bianca’s blog recently, I decided to add two more to make it 27.

1. My name was supposed to be Tatiana Marie but when one of my godmothers arrived at the hospital on the day I was born, she named me after her favorite brand of perfume, Givenchy (zhee-von-shee). She changed the spelling and pronunciation though. My name is spelled with an “i” instead of “y” and it is pronounced as spelled.

2. My favorite verse in the Bible is Isaiah 54:10

“"For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My loving kindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken," Says the LORD who has compassion on you.

3. I was able to talk to some of the “Ang TV” stars (Jolina Magdangal, Roselle Nava, Jan Marini Alano, Jason San Pedro) on the phone when I was 11.

4. I also got the chance to speak with Guila Alvarez and Lailani Terrobias through their home phones. Ahahahaha!

5. I want to have my own restaurant in the future.

6. Facts about the human body particularly the parts and functions of the human circulatory and nervous systems never cease to amaze me. Truly we are fearfully and wonderfully made!

7. I hate Algebra and Physics.

8. I like English, Biology and Chemistry.

9. I was actively involved in our school’s dance troupe, varsity team, student council and drama club when I was in grade four.

10. I think I have a natural talent for impersonating other people. =)

11. For me, nothing beats a vanilla ice cream topped with hot chocolate fudge and caramel sauce.

12. I prefer chocolate with chunky nuts! The plain ones are boring.

13. I love my parents very much. They mean the world to me.

14. I want to have my own SUV someday.

15. I dream of having my own sunflower kitchen someday.

16. My heaviest weight was 162 pounds and I was 21 years old then. A year after, I went down to 120 pounds because of the strong desire to lose weight.

17. I miss my siblings so much.

18. A trip to Hong Kong or Macau is what I would want my mom to give me as a graduation gift.

19. I am blessed with a very sweet and loving son who calls me “princess” once in a while.

20. My husband and I never fail to make each other laugh.

21. I serve pasta at home once or twice a month.

22. I won a gold medal in the general information category of a quiz bee competition when I was in grade six.

23. I’m ranidaphobic.

24. I’m very patient.

25. I want to travel the world someday.

26. I want to spend a week at Burj Al Arab Hotel.
